Extensive research has shown that highly decorated classrooms can actually hinder children's focus and performance. Therefore, we intentionally design our classrooms with uncluttered walls and furniture, storing learning materials and books in accessible yet organized spaces. By utilizing natural, soft colors and eliminating unnecessary visual stimuli, we aim to cultivate a sense of calm and concentration, enabling children to fully engage in their learning activities.
Quieter Spaces Promote Language Learning and Information Processing
At Coral, we recognize the significance of creating a conducive learning environment for language development and information processing. In many early learning classrooms, excessive noise can be a common occurrence, which can hinder children's ability to understand and process language effectively.
