Words From The Founder

I have always been passionate about helping children in every possible way to unveil their individual traits. I felt a resonance within me to create an environment for children where learning is not a burden but a delightful experience. I found that children feel very content and become more efficient if their learning takes place in a voluntary manner rather than enforced.

I adapted teaching as a profession with the same passion and worked in several international schools as a preschool and primary teacher, where I had the liberty of tailoring my own lesson plans to which parents’ feedback, school principal’s observations, and above all the education ministry inspectors' comments were proof of my success. My students and I were concertedly innovative throughout the school year, resulting in achieving the set learning targets with ease. Our classroom was called the class of ideas and continually given the title of the 'happiest class of the year'.

Having worked on my professional development and gaining tremendous experience, I was offered the position of school supervisor and academic head. Carrying on the same devotedness that had driven me throughout my professional journey, I took this offer and thrivingly presided over a chain of schools for several years.

As the sum and substance of a career in education, I have learned that play-based learning allows children to develop socio-emotional skills and to achieve the targets approved by the national and international curriculums of ECE. This approach and practice takes place in many countries across the world and is referred to as a holistic learning and development system.

Now that I have moved back to my home country after spending most of my life abroad, I am setting up a preschool and activity-based learning center. I have chosen to name it 'Coral' because, like a coral, each child has its own color and strength. Every learner and hence all children need a different span of time to show how beautifully they can grow and learn if the right space and opportunity is provided, under the right guidance. I believe and have seen throughout my years of experience that there is not a single way to make children learn, since every individual is unique, thus innovation in the methods to facilitate learning is necessary.

In Coral, along with my team, I am determined to apply what I have acquired and tested. Sharing mutual beliefs, HEI schools of Finland agreed to collaborate with us in designing the curriculum of our preschool. This will surely bring a vivid enhancement in the holistic development of the children that are under our care.
